Welcome to the Brendan-Cave.

Hey guys, finally getting my room sorted out and thought you may be interested.

Hall of the Spider-Men

So in case you haven’t worked it out yet I am a huge Spider-Man fan. This is a large portion of the Spidey stuff I have.

My new favourite figure, “First Appearance” Spidey

Scarlet Spider. Took so damn long to get this figure, and now his brother is also on the way.

It’s not just Spidey stuff…

Or even Marvel stuff…

Or even comic stuff!

My love of the paranormal even makes an appearance.

Hope you enjoyed that little look. Am currently adding quite a few Spidey figures so will show more if people are interested.

My Halloween Party Invite…

Hey guys, I know it’s been quiet in these parts. I have been acting in a musical the last few months so free time has been few and far between. Last week we had a Halloween party and I thought the world might wanna take a look at the invite. Loads of pics currently in the Instagram category from Halloween too (I am the Devil).

New Spider-Man Preview

Cannot wait!

What do you think, let me know below!

Some cool stuff…

Don’t have a lot of time, but haven’t posted in a while so here are some great new videos you should check out online.

Up first Oren Peli’s (the guy who created the Paranormal Activity phenomenon) new movie.

Looks cool huh. Next, the trailer for the new “Ultimate Spider-Man” animated series.

Can’t wait! There are several other exciting superhero shows doing the rounds. Young Justice is one of the best and has just started airing again. I recommend checking it out. Avengers: Earths Mightiest Heroes is also mighty fine and returning very very soon.

Last bit of exciting news, Australian’s get Avengers on April 25th, 2 days earlier than the UK, and 9 (?!) days earlier than the USA. Sort of makes up for the Green Lantern delay (and that ended up being awful anyway). Apparently the new trailer is most watched online ever, lets help add to that.

Oh, and if you are playing Avengers on Facebook let me know, need some more allies.

That’s all folks, stay cool.

What I missed while I’ve been gone

You may have noticed an extreme lack of updates over the last month or so. There is a pretty good reason for this, we moved, and only just got our internet connected today. I’ll be trying to catch up with a few things over the next few weeks, but until then, here’s some great videos you no doubt already have seen, but I have only just got a chance to show.

They showed this new Avengers teaser during the Super Bowl (apparently something culturally significant in the USA). It has officially more Hulk.

It’s no secret I have a spider-obsession. This new trailer is just backing up what I keep saying, this is gonna be awesome.

Max Landis is shaping up to be just as awesome as his dad (make sure you go see Chronicle). This hilarious explanation of the Death of Superman saga is well worth a look.

Thanks for hanging around guys, will try to add more soon.

Death of Spider-Man Motioncomic

This is seriously great. Watch it, and make sure you leave these guys a comment telling them how awesome they are.

Bizarre Found Footage on Youtube…

Some friends I have made on online recently sent me a link to some very strange footage. They tell me they discovered a box of Super 8 footage in an estate sale. The footage is quite messed up, but they are cleaning it up and putting it online. The footage is strange and occasionally disturbing. Here is one example.

You can find there Youtube channel here. There is much more footage, but they still don’t know what is going on. Help try to solve the mystery behind this footage, and share your thoughts either here or on their site.

Best Practical Jokes…

Me and my friends have always been into practical jokes. Who can forget the interrupted Warcraft game that turned into a car covered in stickers…

…the ritual interrupted by a telephone salesman…

…or even more recently the real life werewolf man who just couldn’t get a lift.

But most of the time the best adventures go unfilmed. A zombie chasing Domino’s employees round the store will only be remembered by the lucky few who saw it. However lately I hae been watching quite a few practical jokers on YouTube who are much more dedicated to capturing these pranks, and I thought I would share a few of my favourites.

Alki Stevens

Alki is a prankster whose videos cover a lot of types. Most famous though are his variations on Cone-Ing, Old Man pranks and excellent understated “Bored at Work” Prank Calls. Check out this great example…

Nikki & John Pranks

Nikki and John are a couple who constantly prank each other. The sheer amount and some of the ferocity of the pranks are enough reason for these guys to make the cut. Occasionally (I think) they set up the odd thing, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that most of it is pretty damn hilarious. Hell, she glued his hair to his hat with super glue. Check some out…

The Japanese

While not a prank group as a such, The Japanese are some of the most hardcore pranksters the world has ever seen. Watch this, it is insane…

The Dudesons

Hailing from Finland these guys are some of the best out there. Just watch it already…

CKY Crew

Whether it was CKY, Jackass or Viva La Bam, these guys were responsible for some of the greatest pranks of all time. This one for example…

All this is kind of inspiring me to dust off the old Friendly Young Men crew and get out and film some more pranks. Look out friends and family, here we come.

BFFs 230: A Very Brendan Christmas

Jack Ass Express

Just a quick post to let you know about my friend from Taiwans new podcast. It’s pretty cool, they talk about a lot of similar things to what I do here, give it a listen if you have a free hour to kill. Check it out here.
